I’m LeShonda Wallace, an Advanced Practice Nurse and Public Health Advocate. I enjoy nursing and community health education. On any given day, you can find me at a local event fellowshipping to promote wellness and advocating for social change.
The Frank Harr Foundation and its members exude the vitality and resilience I pray for each day as I walk out into this world. Our society is of the free world, but ironically its full of roadblocks and barriers. Somehow, my brothers, sisters and I of the Frank Harr Foundation continue to persevere despite the challenges created for us in this world because of our differences.
I believe in respecting others’ differences and helping remove injustices that impede growth. It benefits us all to support one another with our talents and resources to combat prejudices and stigma that fuel disparities. I’ve joined this cause to promote fairness and dispel myths associated with disenfranchised communities. I want everyone in our region to have access to quality health, housing, and safe environments and my endeavor is to advocate to that end.
