Seabiscuit Wildlife Shelter – Oak Island
Sat, Aug 14, 2021 10:00am – 11:30am
Mary Ellen Rogers is owner/operator of Seabiscuit Wildlife Shelter and has opened up a tour of her facility for CFA. The number and species of birds she will have on hand depend on what has been rescued that week, as well as birds already in residence and recuperating from an injury.
Reservations required.
If you like, you can arrive on Oak Island early and take a self-guided tour of the south end of the Island. Go down East Beach Drive to the very end, turn on Kings Lynn Drive and park in the lot that faces the water. Lots of shorebirds!
Please remember that Mary Ellen depends upon contributions to keep her operation afloat. Please give generously at the end of her tour!
