Justin Smith

Treasurer

C. Justin Smith is excited to serve on the Board of Directors of the Frank Harr Foundation as the treasurer.  He is a financial administrator at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, working with budgets and finances for construction and renovation projects throughout campus.  Justin also serves as the Director of Music and Organist at St. Andrew’s On-the-Sound Episcopal Church, where he oversees several choirs, plans music for services, and plays the pipe organ.

Justin is active in several nonprofit organizations, especially in the field of music and the performing arts.  He currently serves as the treasurer and membership coordinator of the Wilmington Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.  He is a past dean of the Wilmington Chapter, and oversees all the North Carolina chapters as the current District Convener for the state.  He is a past executive board member of the Wilmington Concert Association and Chamber Music Wilmington.

Justin graduated from Wake Forest University with undergraduate degrees in political science and music, and from UNCW with a Master of Public Administration, with a specific focus in public and nonprofit administration.  He is interested in the intersection of performing arts, religion, and justice, especially for the LGBTQIA community.
