Surfrider Pride Surf!!!

Celebrate Pride and our Coast at the Surfrider Pride Surf June 22nd from 9:15-11:45 @ Carolina Beach BoardWalk. There will be free surf lessons (courtesy of (Odysea Surf School) for beginners/novices, especially those who would like to try the empowering and healing energy of trying to catch a wave. The lessons are open to all who can swim* but we’d like to extend an especially warm welcome to lgbtq+ youth. There are limited slots, sign up now by contacting surfjedi@capefear.surfrider.org

For anyone (lgbtq+, friends, families, allies!) who already knows how to surf, there will be a big group expression session beside the lessons and we’re hoping for a good turnout of spectators and supportive beach goers.

If you are an interested non-swimmer there is a program that can help you learn!
