June is coming up fast, which means we’re officially entering pride-prep season! We’re going to be doing so much this year, even outside of Pride Month, but we wanted to start out by highlighting four big events that will be held in June:

The LGBTQ Center’s Adult Pride Prom

– Saturday, June 6th

– The Eagle’s Dare, 420 N 3rd Street, Wilmington, NC, 28401

– A semi-formal evening dance with food, drinks, and music!

Hi-Wire Pride

– Sunday, June 7th

– Hi-Wire Brewing, 1020 Princess Street, Wilmington, NC, 28401

– A pride party that’s jam packed with games, activities, and local vendors!

Cape Queer Pride Fest

– Friday, June 12th to Sunday, June 14th

– Brooklyn Arts District, 516 N 4th Street, Wilmington, NC, 28401

– A weekend long pride takeover of the Brooklyn Arts District, with a street festival, drag shows, and more!

Pleasure Island Pride

– Sunday, June 14th

– Seaworthy Kitchen and Bar, 604 N Lake Park Blvd, Carolina Beach, NC 28428

– A block-party style event down in Carolina Beach!
