Welcome, Ashley!

The LGBTQ Center is thrilled to welcome Ashley Daniels to the team! Ashley will be taking over for Jak as our Operations and Programming Coordinator. Please say hi next time you see her and give Ashley a warm welcome to the Center.

Here’s a bit about Ashley:  Ashley Daniels is a Southeastern North Carolina native and has a background as a community organizer in environmental justice, social justice, and grassroots electoral politics. Ashley has served on the Mayor’s Clean Energy Ad Hoc Committee and currently volunteers with the New Hanover County Workforce Housing Advisory Committee, Cape Fear Housing Coalition, Communities Connected for Success in Columbus County, and the advocacy committee for the Cape Fear River Watch. She resides in New Hanover County and enjoys reading, live music, and being outdoors at Lake Waccamaw State Park, Carolina Beach State Park, and Kure Beach.
